They don't need tweaking people just need to learn the camos. In every game i've ever played it's never been an impossible debaucle to differentiate friend from foe even when they looked similar.

Go into the editor, put one BLUFOR & 1 OPFOR next to each other, study their camo, the color, their gear, how it looks, etc.

Look at the patterns, design, look at the color of their boots, look at the silhouette they make.

Pretty standard and simple.

Pro-tip: Look at the helmets (if possible)
Look at weapons (if possible)
Identify the unit profile (Blufor and Opfor suits have a bit different shapes)

NATO units lighter Iranians darker.

Thus proving my point according to the two notes above.

They are not hard to differentiate between if you study them briefly. It's the same way it's done in RL, done in a lot of games, etc.

can i vote down twice?

All units are equipped witch binoculars unless the mission editor removes them.
Use them when unsure.

yea this issue will become less and less common as people learn the camos/gear, and usually if they are pointing their gun at you then they aren't just going to say hello.

I actually stopped playing Red Orchestra (the mod) very swiftly because early versions had nigh-identical uniforms.
For me this is a big deal too, but then again I can just play missions that mark teammates with cute coloured dots (like Wasteland does).

There's the camo...and maybe there's the fact that people are griefing you. You are playing public after all. My private group hasn't had any issues identifying players.

Get a pair of glasses.

Or it could be the fact some people are trigger happy & don't know gun control.

It's easy to distinguish between both

How do i remove this D:

You don't, you just let it die.

your own stupidity is not a game bug.

Thanks for adding a note to a basically dead issue asshole

It's all he does on here, if you haven't noticed.

This is simple, ID your targets BEFORE firing. For example the opfor has darker camo then blufor and the opfor uses a more organic helmet shape while the blufor helmet is very box-like.

Are you guys not listening... SOLVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Identification is more of a skill than an issue. It only took me a day after I bought the game to learn the uniform deifferences

Can we get a mod to close this since the OP is confirming the problems been solved.

Please ^^^^^ Lol

It's so stupid... Sometimes you have to observe and make sure that your target is a enemy. Don't shoot at everything which moves!
