I can confirm that as Admin of Oldschooldayz.net where the OP tried it. At the same day, 1 hour before I used a splint myself and had no problem.

Loot respawning after fragnet did something manualy. Persistance deactivated. After server restart there was low quantity of food (a can each 6-8 houses) but tons of other stuff. It would not be enough for a group of 4-6 bambies to get energyzed. I don't know if it will respawn.

I looted the whole lower and upper Berenzino. and have now 3 spare cans and a bag of rice and I am Energyzed and hydrated. But for the prime time we had only 20 players on both servers. Normaly there is one of them with 50/50 till 11:30 and the second 20-30/50 .

Nearly happend to me again today. Again at the NW Airfield. Entered the Jailhouse and went upstairs. Standing in the room upstairs without moving, suddenly my screen turns gray for a 10th of a second. Instantanious i checked the inventory and my pants and shoes got ruined. No shots, no players.

Happend to me at the NW Airfield in the ATC tower. Went downstairs on empty server suddenly "My Leg is in Pain" You are dead.

@Doc Nefarious, Most of the subway trains are automaticly operated systems powerd by automaticly opareted nuclear plants. The idea behind the suggestion is that this would be easyer to implement than other vehicles. And the hours of running in search of your friends is for everyone a pain in the ass.

Happens to me very often, seems that it is in relation to the ping of the servers. Try to join only in low ping servers and repost your results.

Most of the people aim wrong with the shotgun. Right the end of the barrels are the aiming point (Corssair). You have to point with the barrels directly to the head (half of the head under the both barrels) to hit the head. If you don't do that you will not hit anything on short distance. The pallets don't spread this much if you didn't saw it up. Try it an place a comment here.

Its easy to fix. put the time you need to connect to a server (normaly 30 sec on the same server) 5 sec higher than the time the character stays in game after logging out. Thats all.

I have the same Problem, and the upstream is significant. The pIcture above mentioned is from a Router called Fritz Box. and it shows that the client has a line with a maximum capacity of 2427 kbit/S and an upload of 220 kbt/s . Both, up and download are nearly at his 100 % limit. This causes that you can't see zombies, use items or do any other things in Dayz.
I noticed that it gets worse, the more stuff you carry with you.
