Any idea what could have triggered this problem? Any specific actions you have done prior to this issue occurring? Is it possible your controller got disconnected? (And reconnected?)
Have you gone outside of DayZ on the console before the issue appeared?

Tents are actually trash in the dark more lag to death

Seems to lag more at night time when it is dark (solo) not to bad in daytime (solo)

I should also mention that my controller was responsive to the Xbox and not the game

Still cannot build and set up medium tents, canopy’s and large tents in any barn.

Yeah, ps4 here and finally found an ar. Been having hella desync and got kicked from server last night. Re logged today my fully geared character was wiped. SMG, shotty, sk, and ka gone.

lost all my good loot had an m4 Lar veiga with 2 drums and just had found that vsd few mins prior to this.... very disappointing!

No visible desynchronisation. Also, unfortunately, no video.

Have you tried to wait a bit upon pressing the A button? As it can take some while for the game to start connecting to the server (can be up to 30 seconds).

That's called desync (you didn't have a weapon in hand or ghost bullets) and bullet penetration is a thing in DayZ.

I have had that same issue when carrying bag in hands, go into tent storage put item away, back out of menu then you see another item in the bag in hands

There were no actions from our end yet (We requested the gamertag and servers to possibly take a look if there is some error showing in the logs on your connection), so we do not know what did fix this, but it probably has been fixed somewhere on your end.

thank you for the help. it seems to have worked whatever you did. Was i just a matter of whitelisting my ip address? I tried two accounts on two servers. So far they both logged into each server just fine (I will complete the testing for each with 4 diff accounts but these are my main account and my sons account).

I do not usually look for a "no reply" statement in my email to or from section because I would have to hover my mouse over that text line to see that it states "no reply." But I see now that the emails you sent to my email account are just a notification of your replies through feedback website, but they did not specify inside the email that I should only use the feedback functions for replying.
