When holding a bag/container we have had items from either the vicinity or inventory go into the bag/container if you back out using the B button. This seems to happen to whatever the hi light white square is over. This item will go into the held container if you back out of the inventory screen using the B button.

Steps To Reproduce
Have bag or container in hands. Have a weapon equipment (eg:Rifle) in main weapon slot. Go into inventory screen to view content of inventory. Have hi light square over weapon. Back out to play screen using B button. The equipped item will no longer be on shoulder. It will be in bag/container. (As long as bag/container has the room) (or any hi lighted item in inventory or vicinity)
Additional Information
We deal with this by dropping bag/container on ground to sort items. Also if able to, back out of inventory screen by using select (inventory button) instead of the B button! This is more of a nuisance than anything due to the common muscle/mind reflex of using the B button to back out of inventory screens.

Does this occur on every single server with varying population or do you experience this only on specific servers? Also, is there any kind of desynchronisation going on the server when this issue occurs?

To Geez: I have seen this on a couple different servers now. I have also noticed this has to do with the UI system when exiting the inventory screen with any bag/container in your hands. Whatever item your white square Is hovering on will be placed into the held bag/container (if there is room) when you press B to back out of the inventory screen. If you back out using the select button (Inventory button) it does not seem to happen. Also happens if white square is on items in vicinity and you press B to back out.

I have had that same issue when carrying bag in hands, go into tent storage put item away, back out of menu then you see another item in the bag in hands
