And also I have tried joining a Battleye protected server which my friends were on too see if the game would install it for me but that didnt work

Sorry since I didnt put what I already tried.

1.I have verified my files countless times (No difference)
2.Un-installed DayZ
3.Manually changed files in the Battleye folder that may have been corrupt (However some of the files in that folder have a winRAR sign onto the left as the image,not sure what this means)

go to steam library, go to dayz properties, click local files tab, and verify integrity of game cache. this usually fixes this

have this issue many times with me or friends

@Weltall, you know, people still can hear you whisper from the same distance when you speak normally.

This is helpful especially on RP servers, if you are a captive inside a building with another player and you want to talk quitely without letting the other people know what you are speaking about.

this is pointless, you know what you do? you either yell in your mic, talk normal, or talk quiet....

To begin with I would recommend that you try to verify the integrity of the game cache:

1. Start Steam and right click on DayZ in your game library (make sure that the game is not running).
2. Select the tab labeled "Local Files".
3. Click on the button labeled "Verify integrity of game cache...".
4. Start DayZ once the process is complete.

Okay, talked about this to the designers and it is currently intended behavior which is a result of some general principles of the attachments. To be honest it makes sense to me that one of these has to be removed before it can be replaced with the other one (even if it might not be 100% consistent with some other behavior).
This might eventually get tweaked but for now please bear with us.

I'm pretty sure the OP is talking about the M4.
What you meant was a compensator not a compressor in case of the Mosin.

it is a compressor not a silencer ;) but yes you are right.

Should be fixed in the next update.

It was with both my AKM with 30 round mags and the 1911 Engraved. But then suddenly it worked last time I played. I did have to mash the key quite a bit for it to start then it worked just fine. Strange.
