As of yet again the latest update, the freezing and crashing still persists. PLEASE FIX THIS ALREADY, how long are we supposed to wait?
When is this going to get fixed. I would love to play some stuff with friends but it keeps happening almost two months later.
So I have also noticed that if I use a 2d scope and switch to 2x zoom, I am loading in higher textures for trees that are 873m away, interesting no?

Do you mean that if you attempt to search for servers the serverlist is empty? If so, this could be a network issue on your end.

While I'm not exactly in a scenario where the freezes are screwing me over, WHY are they happening?
I already made that suggestion a long time ago and they haven't implemented a "Balanced" gfx mode yet.

BUT GOOD NEWS, I may have figured out a trigger for this, it has something to do with Focus/Zoom in feature and LOD loading.
When you use Focus or zoom in, it loads higher res textures than you're already using, which means if someone like me who plays Fidelity, the quality I have by default gets enhanced EVEN MORE, which shouldn't be the case.
High dense foliage/forests also play a part in it, since all of those trees want that high quality LOD but we can't afford it.
Hey Geez, I know that you last mentioned that this is "in a queue", but how? How is it "in a queue" if it's a major issue? We've been waiting since 1.3 for the fix and we've gotten nothing.
I intentionally looked again because I predicted that it will crash, and it did.

Shoot a man so much that the game tells me to go f myself, game crashes and I am not able to join the server anymore.
As of THE LATEST UPDATE, this issue is still not solved.

Resolved in the next update.
WCS Chernaurus map is too large for consoles, and it can't run the map.
As of the latest update, there is absolutely nothing changed, freezes and crashes still happen.

I don’t believe so. But they could be related. The freeze happens like that sometimes for 10 to 15 seconds and can resume just like normal for a few seconds after until boom. Xbox dashboard. Never seen it crash this bad until 1.3 and 1.4
I have quite possibly found something that triggers this.
I was playing in WCS server EU1, I was running from FOB Alpha to Airfield and my game froze for few seconds.
I saw a huge portion of trees in Airfield go from fully intact to fully gone, and what happened in-between that change? Game freeze.

Hello, as of the latest 1.4 update, my experience in the game has been RIDDLED with crashes and freezes.
I'd even go as far as to say it happens more than it did in 1.3, it's very difficult to play the game like this, I want to play but I cannot play like this.
This is a major issue.
None of the recordings that I tried to make as they happened came through, Xbox clipped none of them.
What server takes up 25gb right off the bat?
So we've reached the point where my favorite mod server takes up 25.7 gigabytes. Due to the reserved space for mods (24 gb) I can't play there anymore because I don't want to download some mods due to space limitations. Please increase it to 80 gb, or let xbox players reserve the required amount of space themselves, it doesn't affect anything!!!

Okay, this has to be it, this has to reveal SOMETHING that makes the game crash and freeze. Pay attention to the spinning MI8.

For the people who like reading, allow me to elaborate;
ARMA REFORGER on Xbox Series consoles should be somewhere around 45.6GB, that's the total size.
24.4GB of that total size is Reserved Space which is Reserved Space for mods, remove that and the game itself will be somewhere around 21GB.
21GB for base game, 24.4GB reserved space, now think, how much are you JUSTIFIABLY willing to make the reserve space weigh without making the game take up unnecessary space just because YOU like to jump around every server known to man?

I'm not sure why my fellow commenters think this is a feature request.
Giving the game, a platform, only 25 gig is an issue, given the fact that most servers require a serious amount of storage to even play.
What is the technical reason for the 25gig limit?
100 gig is not the solution, thats a hot fix. Get rid of the limit or set it to some high number. Let users decide on how many mods they want or need.
I don't want to play Arma Reforger in vanilla mode. I want the real sh*t, like blue f***ing tape around my arm!

We will require more information in regards to this issue. The best would be a video with where the mortars and AIs are and where the "artillery fire" command is issuesd/placed in the world.

Sincere greetings, I hope that in the next update the developers will increase the reserved space from 24 GB to at least 80 GB.
Because currently, one modded server takes up 20–21 GB, and to join another server, we have to delete the mods and then wait a long time for the new ones to download — and we have to repeat this every time we switch servers.
Are there any tips on how to increase the reserved space?
