The frustration that is being expressed in Dslyecxi's video regarding this action system is felt every time I've played OPF, Arma, II, and III. Please implement something more sensible.
Since hotfix I have begun experiencing the game freezing in the server filter as well.
I also forgot to mention that this is a fresh install of Arma 3 Beta.
It appears that adding "-nologs" to the launch options has helped with this problem. I have not had a chance to extensively test, but the last 2 times I played I was able to sit in the browser for more than a few minutes with out a lockup.
After the recent update this seems to be worse. (No longer playing dev branch since release.)

Just tested with editor and sound for helicopter is functioning. Restarted helicopter showcase and there is now sound.

This happened to me today as well, I couldn't figure out what was happening before I was shot up and killed. It's was very frustrating, I hope it gets sorted out soon.
This has been missing since the original ArmA, I cannot believe that there is still no way to have an AI pilot land other than to have him disembark.. It's about time to add this.
Regardless, you shouldn't automatically be eject you from the vehicle. Man I wish I had that power IRL.. people getting into cars, "Hey you get out of that car!" Suddenly they are magically pulled from vehicle.
From the bed of the civilian off road truck would would be cool as well.
I've seen a number of dead soldiers that appear to be folded up in unnatural positions. Bent in half backwards, almost as if they were folded up like a lawn chair.
I assume that this was due to some content not currently available. "weapons.optic_nightstalker".
If AI has an AT weapon, GL, or other heavy weapons, they should switch from small arms and engage vehicle. Once threat has been neutralized they should switch back to small arms.
Agreed with Cyrilator, this as a core feature is well overdue.. However as addons go, @VTS_Weaponresting also works pretty well.
Seriously, if your going to take the time to make a more realistic game you would think that weapon resting and/or bi-pods would be a baseline feature. Maybe make the bi-pods an optional attachment..
When I am in ground Vehicles my CPU will routinely spike up to 100% causing a momentary freeze. I first noticed it in the Vehicle Showcase, and just tried it in the CoOp Map, wan't nearly as bad but it happens there also.

I haven't noticed much of a performance hit on foot or in the air showcase.
