This is kinda known bug as far as i can tell. So there is a workaround for now - try to hold ALT in case your view movement is locked.
Easier to repro with 2 monitors.

Here is another edge case where instead of raising the weapon it unexpectedly fires.

Here is the demo of explosion damage bypassing solid wall.
Playing the game ive noticed that this weird behaviour (not exactly like in the video) of ragdoll is really common. Im not sure why and when it also happening but ive seen a lot of bodies in similar poses in the game.
its not clear that it can be performed, because its a long action and there is no feedback on ui that u are actually doing it. If i get your description right.
Yes i mean this, Mobile HQ truck, but for me as i remember looking away and back didnt work. Maybe i should've go away from it and get back, but i was sure that it is just locked so stopped trying.

Yep, i agree, but it's not the best implementation of IRL behaviour. It's a clear bug. There are ways to make it more realistic and random.

Just wanted to know did you confirm this affecting only vehicle armor or also the body armor?
Just found out that not only crew receives damage from explosions with no penetration. All of the vehicle systems do. This is also should not be like that.
