Yes, this was a planned wipe with the release of .58.
Yes, I'm having this happen, too. I am running at a fence, I try to vault, my character crouches, steps over and then crouches again.
I'm still getting this. I play only on a single monitor. I'm not using any macros and it's not a particular key on my keyboard. This happens with whatever key I assign to raise the weapon.
What usually remedies it, oddly enough, is I go into the Options menu and usually, by the time I get to the keyboard control assignments, I lower my fists. This doesn't happen all the time, so I'm not sure what's causing it and it is not easy to reproduce. Sometimes, it happens randomly. My hands weren't raised and suddenly, they are raised and I can't lower therm. It's gonna get me killed one of these days - haha!
Hi Andy,
Sorry for not getting back to this... took a break from the game. I may have fixed it by unassigning and re-assigning the keys. I'll report back if it comes up again.

Still crashed on exit in stable version.
Requested files. Interestingly, DxDiag report doesn't mention my Nvidia GT750m.
Haven't had the issue with the latest experimental build. But, I haven't had a chance to play as much. Will upload files.
I also have this issue... wasn't sure if it was an Nvidia driver or a game issue. Are you also having color separation issues? I found it most noticeable when I opened the inventory screen and it would temporarily fix with a flush of the screen.
Uploaded images to illustrate the problem. The first image has the color separation - you can see a purple hue. The second image was taken after flushing the graphics.
Also had this issue. Was going into the jail building at the NEAF and it froze, alt-tabbed to see the "dayz.exe has stopped working" error.
I had this same issue with a box of 9mm ammo on top of a locker. I've only had this issue when the box or clip was not in my inventory when I emptied it.
Yep. It's in the experimental branch, along with the CZ75 (mismarked as CR75), the 1911 and the Sporter 22 rifle.
I'm enjoying the respawn mechanic... and I can't wait for when it's more developed and zeds respawn outside of town and wander back in. As it stands, I was leaving Zelengorsk and shot a zed that was below the treeline only to hear screeches above me among the trees and have a couple zeds swoop in on me... it was terrifying! And awesome!
Try this: "delete (back up 1st) the appcache folder from your steam directory, then run steam and it should rebiuld the appcache folder. that has fixed it for me on more than one occasion."
Also had this issue. Was going into the jail building at the NEAF and it froze, alt-tabbed to see the "dayz.exe has stopped working" error.
Also had this... all of them staying up... healing, healthy, energized, hydrated and stuffed. They didn't go away at all.
Saw this in action on Sacriel's stream while he was chatting with Rocket. Sacriel said it looked like the bounding box for the world was a bit too high.
As of the latest experimental build, this is still an issue for me. Has anyone been able to reproduce this?
Yes, anything can be programmed, but if the render engine doesn't have the ability to do the thing you want to program, you simply can't do it. You are bound by the limitations of the engine you are using. It's simply not possible to fix this issue with the current render engine. This particular issue existed in Arma 2 and is still an issue with Arma 3 and DayZ SA.
This hasn't been fixed and won't be fixed without a dramatic change to the game rendering engine. The current manner of rendering doesn't allow buildings to prevent light going through. This is why sun glare, street lights and other light sources shine through walls. This is a major issue if they want to get night time play to be an enjoyable experience, but it will also be a long time before it gets fixed.
If they make a change to using OpenGL, then the issue can be resolved.
Yeah, this is one of the major problems with night time that I hope gets fixed. having a light flash through a window is one thing, but it feels like you're a lighthouse for bandits when looting with a flashlight at the moment. Fixing this will make looting at night a little bit safer.
Most often, this is an issue with the server being unable to connect to the central server to retrieve your character information. I had this issue and it required fixing something on the server. It may not be a problem with the game itself.
Don't be surprised if you login one day and your old character is back... happened to me.
