Cant read any news about this in the changelog for todays (21th may) [dev] patch either
Noticed the same thing on our server
Confirmed and upvoted!
Happens to me also, feels kinda odd? I dont know how NVGs work underwater in real life but this seems wrong!
Sounds good, hope other people think the same!
I'd say the damage sustained is good as it is, close range hit with a 5.56 and you are critically wounded, 400m hit and with protective gear in the cheast and you get very wounded but you really start to wounder what you are doing in the battlefield and your life flashes through your eyes :)
If you get hit once in real life you dont fight any more, you crawl down in a hole and screams for help, even if you are a "rambo soldier" 2-3 hits in the leg would almost certainly kill you due to the big and vital veins that run through your leg. The only hit i would walk away from and might continue fight is ONE hit in the fot or shoulder. Of course the protective gear the soldiers use ingame offers different protection at various distances, but then again remember if you get hit you dont get up in a while.
Had a tail rotor failure last night, as of now the helicopter spins without control but you can save yourself with and land safetly (almost) with the "autorotation". Would be great to implement real damage, such as fuel leaks and hydraulics failure, real instrument failure and power failure. But still we have to remember this is alot to ask to the devs! Upvoted and hoping for something, not asking for anything big though!
Im a dreamer up-vote!
Would be great, opens the versatility of land vehicles and make them even more useable. For the choppers a open door would also give us multiple opportunities, yes the gunner aspect is big but dont forget about the recon support a big kh-60 could give a squad down in the AO circling 250m above with a spotter haning out the door and calling out targets to the ground!

Noticed this bug/glitch to, should be a easy fix!
Yes this happens alot and renders the "hand over controls" feature useless. To bad since its a great feature!
Moonlight could crucial in the battlefield at night/evening/morning missions. I really think moon phases should be implemented. Also on different parts of the world a full moon is brighter then on other parts. Up north we get "almost" daylight at a full moon reflecting itself on the snow (same as sand).
This thread makes me laugh so hard... Recoil are fine.
