If a ladder is close enough to a fence you can use the climb action even if you are on the other side of the fence.
This will immediately "teleport" you at the ladder and trigger the climbing function.
This is relatively easy to reproduce and can be used to access some areas without the need to destroy fences or find the entrance, if a ladder is close enough.
