Ive been playing for so long that i completely forgot that there is a constant wind sound at all times. I completely agree with your post but i still do think Arma 2 bird sounds were elite I dont think a single person would care if you're reusing assets for 10 years ago, if anything i think they would embrace it since the development time for small features would decrease alot. Overwatch 2 still uses some arma 2 bird sounds ive notices and they are a billion dollar studio.

The only difference is there is no stamina, you can still do all of that movement BS hes doing. I forgot dayz intended every player to be lean spamming at every moment
I mean running in the open and all you have to do is hold the breath key and you can instantly snipe them is BS. Aiming is not fine, there are kids making cringe frag movies by abusing the games mechanics and its depressing to watch.

You literally cant break bones with melee. If a player already has a broken leg and you punch it it will make the sound but you cannot cause a break.
DayZ is fueled by intraction, this would boost interactions and create cool interesting scenarios that no other game could replicate. watching back old clips when this was in the game really showed that it worked well and with no complaints, please consider.

The actual melee mechanic needs a rework, every weapon is just a huge 180 degree swing. They need to add a new hitbox for the melee because currently you can hit someone in the foot and that damage is equal to one in the head, there is no thought just swinging. Just mindless mouse 1 stun lock garbage. Also why are the feat locked in place its not like i need percision

About time someone brought this up. The "new" combat is super bad it doesnt fit the slow paced gameplay paired with high octane gunplay, the weapons do need weight and they should make it so your camera isnt fixed to the gun and your camera is your camera and the gun should appear in front of it just like 0.62.
