Agreed, it looks so ugly. Please remove this devs! Never had any problems without the blur and this just makes the game look worse.
The outside of scopes got blurred as well which was another downgrade imo :/
0.62 looks so clean it's actually crazy.
Also while it's unrelated to the blur itself, I wanted to mention that the screenshot in Elektro was taken with settings like Fog/Overcast/Rain set to 0%, and nothing I change can get it to look ANYTHING as clean as 0.62, there's legitimately a smudge of mayonnaise smeared across the screen in 1.23 and everything beyond a few hundred metres looks washed out and horrible. (At least on the coast) some areas far NW like Novaya/Tisy look better on the same settings, but even up there it feels like the fog is overly present when playing on vanilla servers. I hope that one day we'll see some adjustments to that as well, the game shouldn't feel visually downgraded compared to 0.62 but because of things like this a lot of the time it does.
