I noticed this happening as well. Though the 'ok' and 'cancel' buttons are rendered on a higher layer than the attribute adjustment widgets, it appears that the mouse sees the attribute adjustment widgets as a higher level and will modify them rather than select the 'OK' button if the 'OK' button is over a widget.

I uploaded a screen shot. I was just using dev branch for the weekend and didn't want to reload it, but I remember where one of the locations I ran into the bug was. It is in a radius so that is just a point on the edge. I marked the grid references and some landmarks. If you need more information, feel free to let me know, and if I do need to I can reload dev branch.
That did the trick, uninstalling the MCC editor made the defecting AAF units friendly.
Oh, that could be whats causing it, I use that mod as well. I recently had to check through all my mods for a glitch (a different glitch) and MCC checked out fine, but that was for a different bug,so its entirely possible MCC is messing with the AAF alignment. I will check that in a minute.
After some significant further testing, I have discovered the problem is caused by a mod (Arma 3 Map Pack) and not Arma 3 itself. I posted a comment on its page on Armaholic with an updated bug report (http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=23863&d=45#comments).
The module also doesn't spawn any FIA troops, even in military zones.
