Adding better force feedback support for Joysticks
New, WishlistPublic

Description

Not much more to say. I have a Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback Joystick and I got used to the strong feedback in MS flight simulator. It would be nice to see an option to change the force feedback in ArmA to similar levels. There is limited force feedback, but its not really there. Obviously this is low priority since not many of us have joysticks anymore, but it would be nice to eventually get.

I too have this issue, while the Microsoft sidewinder 2 is a legacy controller,
Not many games support FFB anymore.
Those that do, are amazing at simulating the forces felt.
Arma could benefit from having these features looked over again.

I see lots of potential in lots of areas, such as g-forces when flying, crashing in vehicles, and feeling tanks shoot as passengers.

I was excited to hear when Arma 3 was still supporting Force feedback, but I was hoping for a little more realism. Fixing these issues would definitively make arma more popular for the FFB community. And would Ease my mind when it comes to future games supporting it.
