I was able to get food and retain it. Thanks for looking into the matter, for now it seems to be resolved. I hope it stays that way haha.
On the UK server my character did retain his hydration. I have no food to test hunger and it seems I am very close to death from starvation already. I Will try to get someone to bring me food.

I was able to drink some when I logged in today. Still starving and waiting for someone to bring food to my location. Also On the US-1 server for DayZ Colony I had the same issue about 30 minutes into a new spawn. Tried to eat human steaks and my hunger would not update, re-logged and was starving/thirsty.

Currently we do not plan any changes to the wood gathering system, however that may change in future stages of development. Also if your inventory is full, the wood is put on the ground at the tree root area.

well the tree fell with a loud "timber" but i would like ask for some changes in the chopping mechanic since getting just one piece of firewood of one entire tree is a bit silly. also the first one did not drop at all (might have something to do with my full inventoy)
i started with a pristine firefighter axe and after two trees the axe was badly damaged. thats ridiculous. at this rate i need a new axe after every two fires. of course the game is still work in progress but you maybe want to change the durability of an axe (i thought russian axes are stronk) or supply us with more stones (e.g. like finding them everywhere...) to sharpen the axe to worn again.

You have to use the chop option multiple times until the tree falls down.

Alright, in this case I would recommend that you refer to the network troubleshooting guide below since something is blocking/disrupting your connection to the servers:
NAT Types:
Open NATs can connect to any of the three types. --> Probably the least common type
Moderate can only connect to open and moderate. --> Probably the most common type
Strict can ONLY connect to open.
Strict NATs are a difficult problem with peer-to-peer games. Since most people don't have open NATs, the player with a strict NAT won't be able to find many joinable games.
Also, if the player with a strict NAT does manage to join a game, if another player with a moderate NAT joins later, the player with the strict NAT gets kicked out.
Another problem is that sometimes the ISP (Internet Service Provider) is also behind a NAT, which often means even if you have a direct connection to the internet (without a router/firewall), the ISP still acts as a strict NAT.
Port Forwarding:
The following Ports need to be open on your router to connect to the online servers:
TCP 80, UDP 88, UDP 2302, UDP 2314, UDP 2326, 2338
If you need assistance with opening these ports, please refer to the following website for more information (you will need to know your router brand and model, as the website guides are based on specific routers)

Here are some additional tips that have helped many players improve their connectivity:
Direct Connection:
If you are still having issues connecting to the online servers after trying the above steps, try connecting your broadband modem directly to the console or PC you are playing the game on. This can help determine if the issue is related directly to the router or another source.

Interestingly enough, I uninstalled my video driver, which reverted me to the Microsoft default of Microsoft basic Display Driver and it now launches. DxDiag2.txt uploaded.

When i clicked on betas and i selected experimental and clicked close it did NOT start downloading like it should...
But is says now Dayz[experimental].
And now it starts the console says battle aye something
then lunching game the console closes and nothing...
I logged in to be right where a v3s was. This forced the v3s underground and then back up shooting me in the air killing me. Bye bye M4 and so much gear. that guy had been alive for about 3 weeks. Trying hard like you not to dwell on it but still annoyed.

FOV should be adjusted before adding SVD.
Those "arrows" are intended for 1100, 1200 and 1300 meters. Players cease to render at 1000 so they're not useful anyways. The stadiametric rangefinder, however...
No you don't stop render after 1000m. Depends on what you put in your config file in the lines viewDistance and preferredObjectViewDistance. Mine are @1500.
Network bubble are 2km for players I think, where doors is only 1km (that's why you don't see open doors past this range).
And yes, scope with range finder or mil-dot are useless until you find the correct FOV. Should be fixed when aim and solve in the same time snipping without scope.
I depends how your field of view is set in options menu!! theres only one correct setting- all other make the marks dont work
No one ever said 2D scope will ever be one day 3D. I'm not even talking about PiP scope.
Since this applies only to the 2D scopes like LRS and PSO, I'm pretty sure they will change this when they are remodelled into 3D ones like the PU
