How about have this as a server setting?
I believe this applies at least to SKS as well.
First people demand the update to stable ASAP without consulting any experimental testers of the feel of the game, what follows is outbursts of anger towards the developers behind the game. Friendly and informative feedback is always welcome, I believe, given the existance of this site. But come on, folks, don't do it like this.
This is by no means the first report concerning this topic. Before posting your own issue/report, you should have a look at the existing issues first. The more "noise" one report gets out there, the more it will get attention from the devs. Only if you have more information, perhaps an entirely new angle to a problem - make a new issue.
What I see here is you just rambling about the lack of players due to the update. But you must remember the text which appears on your screen, every time you launch the game. At least the players do that you are currently missing: They have decided that the game is currently either too buggy or hard because of the update and thus have decided to wait for following updates. The game is nowhere near being complete, we are looking at an additional two year development here.
And the team working behind the game isnt huge like in many gamehouses today. Why do you think they push out a new Call of Duty out every year? They have enormous development team and need to create a game fast to survive and pay their employers.
Please think about what you post because someone reading this issue is just a waste of time...
Ehh,
Aren't you nearly completely ignoring what I said? By no means did I say that they're that challengeful with an MP5K, in the beginning of my original post I just stated the fact that the zombies have definitely become more threatening due to their higher damage and frequency of attacks.
On numerous posts the devs have stated that currently the only bugs with them is the speed they approach you and how they do so without a sound. With what I have little played of .55, to my opinion melee is lacking in usefulness. No, I didn't ask for players to spawn with machine guns nor even with melee weapons.
My point being, like I suggested above I think it would bring new aspects to the game when melee could be used for blocking as well. And that ability wouldnt save you if you get attacked by numerous zombies around you. You will still be getting hit.
All in all, this is just something I wished to suggest and bring as a topic of discussion, but if you can't properly read and comprehend the suggestion, then leave your trolling out.
Happens vice versa too. If you load 7,62x54mmR to Mosin it will read as 7,62x51mm (.308).
This needs to be checked with LongHorn as well then. Might be an issue related to the rounds themselves, not the weapons. When the rounds become loaded, display name becomes incorrect.
Well yeah..
It could be something like holding down "R" to feed one bullet at a time, releasing it will stop the animation and reloading sequence. But yeah, still make it slow to balance out to magazines and clip loaders...
I disagree;
Adding a single bullet into the chamber one by one and closing the bolt in between is just foolish. Instead, as developers have stated before, Dean Hall specifically, he sees that as "we", the survivors, are amateurs (seen in animations with weapons, movement with arms)
- Make the reloading sloppy without a clip loader, so when you reload bullets one by one into the chamber, make it a slow animation. Also, make it that it can be only reloaded from the Inventory screen, not just by pressing R (default). And when you have a clip drastically increase the speed of the reload animation, but of course weapon has to be empty for a clip to be loaded and this would work with just the press of R.
Figures.
Still, they should put someone to work on the Mosin and the LRS. Better finish weapons already added to the game before they add more, don't you think? Seems like it's more of a nuisance to go back to something you have already designed and added.
Like mentioned above in my previous message and in your words, they should make it so you have to "mod" the LRS into the rifle. Kinda like the idea of having to go an extra mile to get LRS on the rifle.
It helped when I installed new drivers for GPU and rebooted steam. See if this helps.
I have to second to this, to an extent. A clothing, though dependant on the item, can and should if bad luck, break or tear from a zombie or a strike with a melee weapon with a sharp edge. But when talking about bullet penetration, since currently you can ruin a clothing with a single rifle round, this is wrong.
Instead, a rifle ammo should go clean through with a chance. This chance depending how filled the clothing is with hard items, eg compare a jacket with 4 slots and a vest with 8: jacket has a lot more area of cloth compared to the vest, considering pocket space too. In other words, its even much more likely that a bullet wouldnt damage an item on jacket than the same item in vest.
And yes, one bullet hole in a clothing shouldnt make it ruined.
Applies to LongHorn as well.
I just found three M65 jackets in Residential, wot?
