It helped when I installed new drivers for GPU and rebooted steam. See if this helps.

i tried that but it didnt work.. maybe its an battleye issue? because i managed to start the game twice, and at the second time i tried to join a server. and it appeared the eula from BE, i clicked agree and it crashed again

i figured something out: when i start the game via the normal .exe above _BE.exe the game starts without problems, but when i try to join a server it crashes, the terminal shows up and says i should run the game via steam!

so, i reinstalled windows and it didnt help, im really frustrated right now..
it seems the problem comes from Battle Eye right?

Hello baking bread and thank you for the report.
Could you please run the game with -dologs parameter and attach contents of C:\Users\*USERNAME*\AppData\Local\DayZ to the ticket once the crash appears again? If it cannot be attached due to size, upload the files on some kind of cloud site from which we can download them.
Regards,
Geez

thanks for help!!
i uploaded the fies you requested Geez.

now i tried loading experimental version, deleted (local Disk/program files (86x)/common files/battleye), started dayz and it began updating BE and the game started!!

i moved back to stable version but the same error appears!! the 0x00... number is a little different, but its the same error again..

Hello baking bread.
Thank you for the additional info. We will check the crashlogs and return back to you.
Regards,
Geez

i tried to join an experimental server and it says it needs to update BE, then the game tabs out and the cmd opens: updating BE and after a few minutes the game crashes again, with the same error..

any progress yet?

I intstalled dayz now for the third time and also reinstalled windows, it does not work either, im really frustrated right now! i know its alpha and we're testing it, i love this game absolutely, but for 30€ i want at least something to "test"on!

now the error is a little bit different: the instruction at !0x00d02c46! referenced memory at 0x00000000. the memory could not be read!

the first 0x00... is a little bit different, dunno if this helps..

Hello Baking Bread.
We have checked the crashlogs and it appears that some third party program is raising DayZ's memory usage, however we are not sure which one. Any useful info on which program could be causing this is appreciated. We also suggest you try some of the fixes in FAQ section of http://www.battleye.com/support.html.

Geez

Hello,
I have the same error on a Windows 7 machine, after reading this link:
http://leshcatlabs.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=834
I have tried to move back to version 13.1 of Catalyst, but it do not seems to help. I also found this link:
http://www.orhangazi.info/2015/03/dayz-instruction-at-0x00540680.html
And did a preinstallation with Intel drivers, but it did not solve the problem.
If I run it with -dologs the error message says: "Display adapater does not support format D24S8 for X8R8G8B8."
