(yolo right?)
Piss off.
Because it's ridiculous having Side and Global chat where people can spam constantly with childish statements or pathetic bandit attempts, the same is supposed to be immersive.
This is not a bug, and absolutely do not bring Side or Global back.
I have some issues too with lag,
AMD FX 8150 3.6GHz
Sapphire 7970 3GB
16GB Crucial RAM
128GB SSD w/ 3TB Seagate
Altis Life is running a Multiplayer Map that is officially made by Bohemia, it resides on the Altis map.
The content in Altis Life is created with the SQF language, Bohemia's official language for the Arma series. This language is maintained & surrounded by your container - the game.
Right now I'm using array subtraction to detect the players magazines, subtract magazines from an array of illegal items; and re-add the rest of the items the unit had.
Lecks, I see what you mean; I'm sure there's a workaround though, I'll see what I can think of.
To be quite fair; ragdoll on this game has always been terrible.
It would be nice to see some proper physics implemented.
To bump and clarify this issue;
Instead of players being able to mute channels, it should be a feature where the core administrator can define an option in the missions Description.ext such as "disableVONChannels" which works just like "disableChannels" but obviously for voice instead.
RogerX; it's entirely up to the young people maintaining servers whether access should be granted or denied, it's up to you to find a server that doesn't do such ridiculous things.
In regards to that last comment by Rnd, I'm just informing that my driver package is 13.4 using the "AMD VISION Engine Control Center version 2012-1219-1521-27485"
Just bumping to see what is going on about this issue.
Are users still crashing? I haven't played the game in a while.
Attached .rar file.
If the information does not suffice I can attempt to reproduce the issue again and upload the info.
Unfortunately I don't know how to reproduce this as it is random as stated above, however it has happened now two times within 10-15 minutes since the update. Here are the files as requested

Actually regarding the Scuba mission, within a certain radius there is a trigger that will alert the enemy of where you are. It is this trigger itself that causes the look-a-like "X-Ray Vision".
However, they do have X-Ray Vision. They shoot through walls and trees and can spot you from over a klick away.
You got one thing right there Syn, I am not a modeler.
As for the rest, well now I am also under the impression that you are not an adult either ;-)
If I'm throwing money at a company that claims their game is a "military sandbox where I can experience true combat" then I'd expect to get what I buy.
I wouldn't go in to a store and buy apples only to receive oranges now would I?.
But for your own information, I am quite fluent in C#; you can add that to your record thank you very much.
For 10 years after branding ArmA as a military simulator? Let's be realistic here. Even 2-3 years since this ticket creation is far too long when modders have done it in under several days, or even minutes seeing as how simple of a task it is for the code work, modelling is probably the longest part of this.
Yeah, I mean what's it been, almost 10 years?
Don't hold your breath for game optimization any time soon, not for about 8 or 9 years.
It's been over 1 year, how long does it take idiots to implement a system which has been done time and time again in mods?
Spend less time releasing ridiculous DLC, and more time developing systems for a game you advertise as a "true combat gameplay" scenario "in a massive military sandbox".
We'll see.
They've acknowledged this; but it has been said that they're evaluating it for the marksmen DLC.
We're essentially being made pay more money to have a feature that is a basic concept in any world or country.
