Its good to see so many people taking an active part in bug reporting/feature requesting, that being said, the issue here is not of balance but of aesthetics, you must remember that at its core arma is NOT a balanced game, it is in fact referred to as an a-symmetrically balanced game, I.E if you go back to the arma 2 days, OPFor were often the much weaker side, this is counteracted by the fact that the mission maker would either give them strategic advantages or greater numbers.

100% want this feature, those that say they dont (although fair enough) should maintain memory that this is a hardcore military sim, you dont get to tap into the voice of god on /side and get instant battlefield awareness.
