Sub-machine gun issues

Description

Two.
First and foremost, single fire produces a fair amount of recoil (whether accurate or not I do not know), yet full auto produces little to no recoil.

Second, the effective range of a sub machine gun is obviously very low, yet the gun is locked to 300m making most targets, say at 50m, the bullets go whizzing overhead, not sure if the zeroing should be changed?
