Limit your FPS and you will get another crash instead.
That's what happened to me.

Limiting FPS gave illegal read error.. Then back to GPU hang.

What the fuk... My ticket about this has not been set to "awaiting internal testing" And I posted mine a while back.
I have the same issue. It has been reported several times in steam as well as Discord and other ticket here.

Disabling integrated graphics (not Intel because it is not present), did nothing.

I had this. The tutorial range text is wrong. Don't remember the exact elevation, but the elevation in the tutorial hint is wrong.
Think I went higher, and it accepted it.
