From what I've seen it makes NO difference, you can sprint up-hill.
The game really needs this, I have already noticed helicopters are quieter when you are inside a building, so I don't see why they couldn't change the sounds for guns based on location as well :D
This also applies to explosive charges, you can hear them beep from 100-200m away.
As a fairly new player to the ArmA series (since ArmA 2), one of the first things that put me off when I hopped into a tank was the damage modeling. I would really, REALLY hope they improve it in at least SOME WAY for ArmA 3. IMO this NEEDS to be implemented.

I don't need to have my screen blurred to be surpressed. Seeing bullets streak over my head is enough to make me sit down. This isn't Battlefield 3 guys.
You've never experienced panic in Arma before? I don't need a mechanic to simulate panic, when I got shot at I already either cower in fear, or wildly return fire.

Yeah, I've noticed it is quite hard to hit people, and I think it is the excessive spread on them.
Excuse me people, IT IS AN ALPHA. I think putting new character models in with different hitboxes is the last of their concerns right now.
I used Msi afterburner to OC before, and it would simply crash on every game, even if I underclocked it. It's an issue with afterburner, not A3.
