Well, I get your frustration. I've been there. Recently I made my peace with it: somehow all the killing/chasing/shooting/dying related bugs have to be found as well...

Can confirm! I tried EAT ALL for 'Canned Tuna' and 'Powdered Milk' while carrying an axe in hand (no melee weapon on back, however).
Both times the axe disappeared and the already consumed can/packaging remained in the characters hands.
"Remove from hand" didn't work, dragging it to "vicinity" didn't work.
The only way to get rid off the consumed item in the character's hands was to hotkey another item and access it via the hotkey.
The axe returned only after relogging (not sure if to same server, though).

I haven't seen the "loot body" option in .60 so far BUT if you're close enough to the body and press your tab key you will see all the items on the body under "vicinity".
@Painindaass
Hah, that totally make sense. With the invisible outside "wall" being just slightly bigger than the textured modell wall, the effect is only visible in very particular moments (such as leaning around said corner).
I think that's it. It would certainly explain the video I took while standing right in front of a concrete wall (the part with the hole underneath) and changing my posture:
I tried to reproduce your bug and was only party successful.
The bug does NOT happen when you walk up tp a tree, wait for "chop firewood", klick once (either pressing F or pressing the middle wheel/middle button), wait for the animation to work, wait for the next "chop firewood", klick again, wait again.
The bug ONLY occurs when you walk up to tree, wait for "chop firewood" and spam F as fast as you can.
Depending on how often you manage to press F before the animation of the falling tree occurs, I managed to get from 3 to 15 big pieces of fire wood.
You are right. My late report (https://feedback.bistudio.com/T117188) looks a lot like the issue you posted first.
Tried to merge mine into yours but it looks like only @Geez can do that.

Can confirm. I run DayZ & Shadowplay on Windows 7 (64 bit) and it's the same for me. Too dark.
This is exactly the point of the exercise - to see whether or not the weather effects (e.g. rain) affect fps (and other things) and if so, how.
Reducing rain time does not solve the underlying problem, though. Sure, you would have to suffer 25fps for only half the time than before, but still 25fps only.
A solution would be to find the reason for the drop in fps, fix/adjust it, and happily dance through the rain at 50fps for the rest of your character's life.

Same goes for flares.

Only affects a single chair in the reception hall of the health-care center (blue) next to the factory near Solnichniy.
Haven't tried other health-care centers, though.
