Confirmed. I've added some screenshots. They broke it, everything was okay before.
PS As I understand this broken animation is connected with whole bunch of items such as land mines, bear traps, pumpkins , etc...
i can confirm this, see something like snowing and the snowing can be seen through a character.

I had same problem one time.
There is also the same thing happening in Kabanino, the (what is it called ? fieldroad, sideway, ? ? ) where you come into Kabanino from Vybor, then the first left after ca. 50 - 100m there is !nothing! on the road, but you can hit it with the truck causing damage...

I also get this issue, and have no startup parameters. I've noticed that it happens both when I'm moving, or standing still (not even looking around). I wonder if players entering your network bubble can cause it?
Andro comparing it to a memory crash is very observant. Before when the client was crashing frequently, it would freeze in a very similar manner before crashing to the desktop. Now it will freeze, and then recover.
Today I had the chance to drive a V3s from the west to the east. While driving I had constant freezes mostly in the big towns along the mainroad in the north.
(Without startup paramaters and 3rd party tool).
Yes they are still present in 0.57.
The frames are dropping every once a while mostly in the north and its like a memory crash.
But I dont play 0.57 so much - neraly no zombies and the lootsplosions elemiante the fun for me personally.

Try removing the startup parameters too, as we do not support them any more and they seem to cause various issues within the game.

I have absolutely no 3rd Party Programm running in the background except all Windows Default programs and AMD Catalyst.

My start paramaters are: -nopause -nosplash -skipintro
I played the game without the tool yesterday. I had noticeable less freezes but they are not gone.
I have exactly the same gamma flickering after the freeze as in the video the user Paper posted here.
Problem with mouse cursor tabbing out to windows drives me crazy and I will try another tool. XD

From the video you have posted it looks very similar to the issue other users experienced due to interference of BattlEye with some third party program. In case you figure out which program is causing the problem, you should contact BattlEye support immediately and provide them with as much details as possible so the problem can be fixed.

Someone said to me that this happens also to him at the same moment than me.
The newe VBS3-Engine can fix this IMHO.
I also get the 1 to 2 second freeze every few minutes. I have no start-up parameters and am not using any tools. The freeze occurs when moving around
Do you get these freezes while moving around?
These freezes often happen for me when players login/logout...
It just happened in the last few hours on a couple of Vilayer Georgia servers (GA 2-5 and one other I can't remember)...

Having a poke around on google, it seems like something might be blocking the launch of the executables.
Could you try the following steps and see what happens (you may have to reinstall all your Steam games at the end)?
go ctrl+alt+delete - manager - and end process Steam.exe and run DayZ again
might be windows firewall?

What Gpu do you have? If your using an NVIDIA card, there was an update at the around the same time that 0.55 came out. If you do have an NVIDIA card then maybe you could try going back to the older version of the drivers?

How about right clicking dayz.exe in your game folder and troubleshoot compatibility, or even running the game as administrator? Change the properties; under compatibility make it what ever version of windows you are using. If this doesn't work you can try to go into your anti virus, check the reports. The new version of dayz i have noticed opens a second window for battle eye. Maybe your antivirus has put the folder into decontamination and is blocking it, if you allow the process to run then you should be alright.
Have you tried reinstalling steam and the game? I also had to do this one time my game wouldnt launch.
Try downloading the game to another location, possibly a spare hard drive and see if the problem still persists.
I only have a single hard drive. What I don't understand about this problem is that it all worked fine before but since the 0.55 Experimental-Stable has come in nothing will work.

If you have Razer Synapse, delete it. I had this problem and thats all I had to do.
I just called it on basis of the screenshot that you provided yourself. You can access the launch parameters this way:
A new copy of the game would not solve your problem.
This happened to me when I had the -dologs launch parameter setup for DayZ in steam. Removing that and I was golden.
On the screenshot you submitted, it doesn't look like the install process has completed though.
Are you sure that you haven't interrupted the install process somehow?

If you go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DayZ on your pc; what happens when you manually launch either DayZ.exe or DayZ_BE.exe (make sure that Steam is running in the background first)?

Nothing happens. It only happens if I launch from Steam. I've tried other things since my first enquiry and still nothing even though all the other games in my library work. I'm thinking only a new game can fix this? Because I've re-isntalled Steam, DayZ, I've changed settings, deleted AppCache, etc... I honestly believe my game is non-functional or has got infected or something...
