Currently you are unable to enter prone position with a AT weapon(actually you can only crouch or stand up, none of the tactical position works). Lighter AT weapons, like the AT4, can in reality easily be fired while laying prone.
I suggest that we get the ability to fire AT weapons from the prone position. {F19536} {F19537} {F19538}

It would be possible to get out of the backblast if you are forming a T with the launcher (think lean left or right while prone).
Some launchers may have other reasons for this not to be possible but since i don't know anything about that ...
Sorry, I did not notice the picture did not upload due to .gif. Have a look at how you fire such a weapon while being prone (as Jejn explained it). And as the backblast is not modelled currently, they might not even worry about it.
A weapon like a Javelin is probably not feasible to fire in such a way

I think it is possible and I think ACE 2 did it fine. Also ECP for Operation Flashpoint Resistance if I recall correctly. You dont have to worry about backblast as far as you ain't pointing back of the RPG on your ass ;) As seen on the picture above, or just the proper elevated position for attacking the convoy.
