even if this dosn't happen, could we get the periscope effect most AFV's have, where their is more then one port giving views off to the sides as well
my thoughts are this:
is SP, where the AI is the gunner, you use the target menu (2,#) to "aim" a guided weapon, so the AI cares out the targeting (and post fire guidence if needed) as though they are a player.
if you lose LOS on a laser weapon then it flies stright foreward etc.
if its MP it works more like ARMA 2, where the gunner has to do the correct things
Tested, in the 8/07 dev build
can confirm default AI placement, with only the parachute being added, and the height changed will create the effect seen here
problem seems to be with the "in formation" setting, when its set to "none" the parachute opening dosn't kill the AI.
BUT once the AI hits the ground, the parachute dosn't close, and they drift around on the ground

YES PLEASE!
do you mean how the new button is covered by the glowing bar? if you click OK it will make sure the new option is accepted
it is a issue not being able to see what you entered
also remeber to click ok once you leave the keybind menu as back/cancel deleates all new binds
shactac already has this in their arma 2 so its do able even to ensure a slightly safer LZ
i was getting this yesterday.
this was my reason;
if your HDD is set to auto compress to save space, alot of the .exe's won't work.
you can tell if its on as in normal windows the file names will be blue instead of black
i think its a consesion to vehicles with 2 optics (i think the cobra in arma 2 was one) num 0 gave you the gunners view (with FLIR) and right mouse gave you the pilots HUD
if it was a keybindable option would be nice, for example it could go on the thumb buttons on a g9x mouse
the new trackir 5.22 driver works with arma3, was using it last night
its more selective then arma 2 was, but still there
