Shows as "Arma 3" followed by the executable path for me in stable branch 1.00. What version does your game show up as in the corner?
Fixed in 1.0
As an additional note, this issue stems from the ability to look up while in a prone stance. Limiting the aiming up angle while prone can patch this issue up while at the same time removing the "Steel back soldier" syndrome that's been in the series for a while. Being prone shouldn't allow you to aim straight up to the sky, it should be locked to the ground and a little above so it's still possible to shoot targets uphill.
You can get the same screen by calling endMission "end" though. No reason to keep an accidental addition because of that.
It isn't. The initial SMGs had the same issue when they were first released, it turns out the recoil animations were mis-configured.
Graphics memory is definitely faster, but it's also very limited compared to system ram. Fetching stuff from RAM is still multiple orders of magnitude than fetching data from the hard drive, which the game does all the time on Altis since it can only fit so much in 2GB.
Artillery vehicles aren't affected, as the turrets are placed higher up and can't be reached through glitching from below. At least not from my testing with all closed ground vehicles.
Also happens with the newly-added T-100 and M4A2 Slammer tanks.
Note: I changed the title a bit to cause less confusion, the issue reported is still the same.
Fixed as tested in the dev branch. Most of the crew is killable through the armor now.
Additionally:
- Ladder at the top cannot be used, its hole in the ceiling is also solid to units
- Building can be damaged with one Frag Grenade and destroyed with another
- House 2 (big inhabited) v1's doors also cannot be opened
- (minor) Both the control tower and House 2 (big inhabited) v1 are invisible in the editor.
Just tested in 0.53.103524
