Hello Shagohad and thank you for the report.
So if we understand correctly, the game does not crash but it does freeze and prior to freezing there are fps drops? If so, we are aware that such issue can occur and it is scheduled for a fix. If it is possible, could you check your resource monitor the next time the issue occurs and let us know if there are any changes in your cpu/memory usage from usual gameplay?

Hello Shagohad and thank you for the report.
Does the issue occur on the current experimental version still? Are any .mdmp files created in the C:\Users\*username*\AppData\Local\DayZ folder when the crash occurs? Does the issue occur when playing other games as well? And could you try to describe "your pc loking up" in more detail?

I have also experienced this. Last night I was playing with some of the best FPS I have experienced in a long time. Typically before the recent patch I would get amazing FPS in small bursts and then massive stuttering which would alternate and get worse the longer I played.

However the recent patch eliminated this and was so wonderful! The patch this morning though reverted all that and I am back to terrible bursts of stuttering mixed with fine FPS in between. I will attach my dxdiag

I suspect (tho Im completely talking out my ass) that it has something to do with fixing the animation cycling? they mentioned it as something they wanted to fix and maybe the server is now performing a check on players weapon satus and its just not working properly so its forcing the player to holster the weapon (holstering a weapon then redrawing it fixed the cycling issues between players in my experience)

Hey guys, I have noticed that this may be an issue caused by "network bubble" interactions?

I play on 1st person exp and double carried 2 weapons from cherno to the NWAF on a mostly empty server without ever dropping either weapon. At the NWAF the bug suddenly occurs and I think that is suspicious so I hide.

Low and behold a player shows up soon after (soon enough that he could be running from the peremiter of the bubble into where I was. Because I was at the tent city it is reasonable to guess that he ran there in the amount of time from the bug occuring to seeing him there.

So I kill him and he is a clan memeber of a clan that had 2 guys on earlier. After looting him and looting around I suddenly get the bug again, on checking the server list his clanmate has now logged on, I suspected he told his friend who was nearby to log and try and get me. I was spooked so I ran but I feel like thats what was happening.

The only other time I have experienced the bug was in elektro near other players.

Hi Stewart, nope no launch parameters, it may be worth mentioning I sometimes get a similar texture bug whilst playing company of heroes 2 (though not with any other games)

I feel like it is a hardware issue somewhere at the bottom of this

http://feedback.dayzgame.com/view.php?id=15715 < another example of the exact same kind of artefacts but he has them with a different gfx card and they are specific to one type of bush whereas mine seem to come from a variety of different objects.

GUYS when nigh time is so dark all that happens is massive gamma hacking and or no one plays, everyone just leaves the server and goes to another even on small private hives, make nighttime play fun and deep, the focus on realism in this aspect at least does not lead to great game play unless there is a lot of depth for nighttime play regarding multiple light sources/ new lighting system in the new renderer ect. Without those things current night play is pretty shit.
