Does the timer occur frequently or was it just one time experience? As there were changes to IP's of some servers which was announced and could cause this.

Yes to both questions. I re logged and am able to get bait on hooks but usually can only catch one fish and then my next attempts just stay in the animation for as long as I hold the fishing button. I re log to fix that but need to re log after 1 fish is caught. I haven’t tried catching a fish then exploring and trying to fish in a new location though only caught a fish then re bait my hook and cast again if that makes sense
