Since 1.13 the distant gunshots have disappeared. The only sound that is played is the 500m version at lower and lower volune. I aproximate max distance you can hear gunshots is around 1km now at most.

This is a huge loss in terms of atmosphere. Many a times me and my friends stopped to listen to a distant gunfight. The bassy thumps rolling in. Sounded completely awesome and added enormous atmosphere and tension.
