FLUIDmadman added a comment to T65955: Crosshairs always visible and weapon can be fired while lowered and running.

I don't have a problem with my weapon firing at the ground when running as that is where my gun is pointing . I do however have a problem with my cross-hairs pointing forward while my gun is pointed down. Cross hair are suppose to be a visual representation of where your weapon is pointing. This does need a fix in my opinion.

FLUIDmadman added a comment to T65086: Bullet holes/impacts on objects and vehicles fade too fast and have a very low resolution / improved damage model.

I think most PCs struggle with ARMA already without asking them to keep track of every single bullet decal from every bullet fired. Its a nice thought but it would cause far too much lag .I prefer good FPS over persistent bullet holes.

FLUIDmadman added a comment to T60792: Recoil causes weapons (even in semi-auto) to climb vertically in an unrealistic manner.

I agree .Currently we are expected to fight our characters unnatural desire to prevent the gun from settling after each shot . this is simply absurd ,not to mention unrealistic.I have had to increase my sensitivity far more than I am comfortable with to even come close to countering this without running off of my mouse pad(I still do). and no I am not firing full auto at a target 100m away, and I didn't come from COD.I never had this issue in ARMA 2.I really hope they do something to correct this.

FLUIDmadman added a comment to T59479: [SUGGESTION] Open weapons as containers to grab attachments.

You took the words out of my mouth .Either this or show all attachment in a sub group when viewing weapons. it is annoying having to drop weapon and all your ammo to get attachments.

FLUIDmadman added a comment to T58966: Insane recoil on weapons.

Lets say the muzzle climb is realistic . I've never fired these specific weapons in real life so lets pretend these armys chose weapon systems that are less manageable than their predecessors(ARMA 2 weapons). The fact remains that if (IRL) someone fires a single shot at a target ,yes the muzzle will climb but the only thing preventing the muzzle from coming back down would be the shooter not allowing gravity to do its job.So the game currently has us fighting our soldiers unnatural decision to prevent the muzzle from returning to its original level. This needs a fix.
