Just tested. Can't confirm. Can you add more information to reproduce the bug? What did you before you hit f3?
Seems like this was caused by the steam service. Rocket posted something about this at his twitter
Since there is no output recheck your inagame settings, did you maybe set the volume to a lower level? Did you got the latest patch?
Open your system Volume controle while ingame, and see if there is any deflection from DayZ. Also make sure you have your ingame sound enabled
