Happened to me as well at the pond north of Chernaya Polyana (Black Meadows). I went between 2 little rocks in the water and was stuck.
Edit: After logging out and logging back in, I had a new character, so I died somehow.

Why are you posting this twice? In #10878 you wrote exactly the same thing.
And by the way, you can only get this by hacking the game. So it's not really a bug.
Were they the green packaged bandages?
The fact that it's much more likely to happen if you're prone tells me that this is not a bug. I have only been one-hit-killed once, and that was when I was lying on the ground.
This is not a bug. If the unlikely event of a zombie hitting your head happens, it's an instant death for the player. If you're lying on the ground, the zombie is more likely to hit your head.
I think if you're standing, only jumping zombies can hit your head, but I'm not 100% sure about that.
I tried those 3 (the 4th is just funny to me) solutions on Stable 0.45.124426. To create a new string value registry setting absolutely worked for me! I refreshed the server list over and over while simultaneously pinging google.com, and the server list always worked along with the ping test. Very nice to see.
Edit: Used a value of 10000, did not have to decrease it.
Thanks a lot Accolyte!
Tested as well on Exp 0.45.124299.
Issue is still present, even with Flood Protection turned off in the router configuration.
@Trivium: Is it still there on the newest experimental? Or what version are you talking about?
The experimental servers had passwords. I couldn't test any of the changes.
@olveld: Playing through a VPN is not very good ping-wise. You would have to switch to a connection without a VPN to play to have a good experience in game.
Halleluja! The devs have finally heard our desperate cries for a functioning internet connection!
But seriously, thanks for looking into this issue.
By the way, issue number 7325 (http://feedback.dayzgame.com/view.php?id=7325) also seems to be a duplicate of this bug.
This was already reported in http://feedback.dayzgame.com/view.php?id=7185
This issue is the same as in http://feedback.dayzgame.com/view.php?id=7185
The best option at this point is to upvote as much as possible, so the devs see that this is a really big problem for some people.
As mentioned above, the issue is really within DayZ, and not somewhere else. You can't really expect people to turn off their firewalls just for a single game, when thousands of other games manage to make a server browser that works without slowing down the connection.
