Really kills the feeling of being in the game when I can look around and still be zoomed in. I liked the 2d scopes better. PIP (as in the black mesa pic would be awesome - but I don't think we'll get that). At least lock the eye piece while in the scope.

well plus you can go to the co-pilot side and select get in as pilot in which case you are automatically zipped to the other side. The little bird is what I was referring to.

+1 would love to be able to lower Binocular with a mouse click to survey surroundings, then raise them again. Hate having to switch back and forth between gun and binoculars. and the range finder (when it becomes available) should operate the same.
This was happening to me until I ran across a message about running the game as admin. People were posting some pretty crazy stuff, bu all I did was go to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3\arma3.exe
Right click and select "Run as Admin"
I no longer experience crashes in multiplayer games.
Also, before I ran as admin, I never experienced problems in single player mode or in the editor - it only occured in multiplayer. (might help narrow down the problem for some)
Hope that helps someone!
I use IRtracker5 and am using the default sensativity curve - I couldn't get any zoom feature at all with Head Forward, so tried mapping the head forward movement to the Zoom In and Zoom Out features (the continuous mode seems to be absent) and also had a very jerky/quick zoom in and zoom out effect. Not at all like the smooth and variable zoom I enjoy with Arma 2.
