Update: in the latest patch so far I have not experienced this bug after melee killing about 6 infected. Not sure though if that means the bug is gone and I also don't know if a fix has been deployed in the latest patch.

After validating the files I went back to the same spot on UK 0-5 and had no crash this time. I found a MP-133 shotgun so maybe that is what was causing the crashes. I guess this issue seems solved for now.

At the time my system was reporting 75% of physical memory usage (no applications in the background other than my browser) and because I have 8 GB RAM and DAYZ SA is a 32 bit application it was suggested I had a memory leak. (when running DAYZ I normally have 50% RAM usage).

A fellow player told me to validate my game files and it said it could not validate one file of 24.3 MB. So maybe that was the problem, will test again.

Edit: looks like it had to redownload weapons_shotguns.pbo because it is the only file that was updated today exactly at the time I was validating as far as I can see, although it seems a little larger than 24.3 MB. This could be a logical explanation for my crashes in both situations. I approach some loot containing the shotgun, the game can't render it and it crashes? All fits with relogging on a different server at the same spot and not crashing because the shotgun is not there.

Now 45.124426 is pushed to stable the infinite soda cans have returned, exact same issue as described before. I did not see this bug when I was testing 45.124426 on experimental, the difference may be I have an old character on stable.

Wanted to let you know that the issue of infinite cans seems to over/solved. I was playing earlier today and still had the issue but around 12:00 AM GMT+1 I connected again and now the cans are getting empty and disappear from the inventory. If the issue arises again I will let you know.

I guess it's possible but I played already for about 20 mins, I never heard a general announcement and the "dude" was not sounding very mature or admin like. He said he was 21 but after a while it was clear he and his buddy were harassing a female character player, not something I would expect from an admin. Will report again if it happens again.
