I purchased a new monitor recently and Dayz 0.63 was way too bright even on 0% brightness setting. Also the nights were like 0.62 with gamma turned on.

It turns out that if you have 0.62 installed and have gamma way up, and then install 0.63 the gamma setting stays, this way players can still use the exploit in 0.63.
Meaning that if you save a 0.62 (gamma maxed) to 0.63 cfg, you can probably switch at will between normal and 100% gamma in 0.63.
