CTD on some exp servers
Acknowledged, WishlistPublic

Description

Since yesterday I experience CTD´s. In over 700 hours of playing I never had them before. As far as I can tell I have no hardware issues.
Yesterday on UK 0-7 (before yesterdays update), I describe it here: http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/226511-exp-update-058/?p=2288425
Today I had 4 CTD's and 2 freezes on UK-05 between 08:30 - 08:45 on UK 0-5, first time happened when I was approaching the military barrack (the sleeping barrack) in the military base north of Troitskoe. The game crashed giving me the error messages below. I suspect it has something to do with loot, like yesterday on UK 0-7. {F32229}

I restarted the game and joined UK-05 again. Immediate crash. Restarted again and again immediate crash. Another restart and the game just froze while loading, had to end the process in task manager.
I then restarted my pc, logged in UK-05 and had again a freeze.
I then logged in on UK 0-7 and had no problem (no loot in barracks), logged out and logged into UK 0-5 again and had another crash when I approached the same barrack again.

At the time my system was reporting 75% of physical memory usage (no applications in the background other than my browser) and because I have 8 GB RAM and DAYZ SA is a 32 bit application it was suggested I had a memory leak. (when running DAYZ I normally have 50% RAM usage).

A fellow player told me to validate my game files and it said it could not validate one file of 24.3 MB. So maybe that was the problem, will test again.

Edit: looks like it had to redownload weapons_shotguns.pbo because it is the only file that was updated today exactly at the time I was validating as far as I can see, although it seems a little larger than 24.3 MB. This could be a logical explanation for my crashes in both situations. I approach some loot containing the shotgun, the game can't render it and it crashes? All fits with relogging on a different server at the same spot and not crashing because the shotgun is not there.

After validating the files I went back to the same spot on UK 0-5 and had no crash this time. I found a MP-133 shotgun so maybe that is what was causing the crashes. I guess this issue seems solved for now.

Hello SAK.
Could you please send us contents of your C:\Users\*username*\AppData\Local\DayZ ? There could be some information in the crash logs, which could help us determining the cause of the issue. In case the files cannot be uploaded due to size, put them on some kind of cloud site from which we can easily access the files.
Regards,
Geez
