I'd like to add that, and this may be caused by the same root issue, rotational inertia seems to be nonexistent when the handbrake is activated. I assumed that it would work like in Arma Reforger so that if you need to make a quick U turn, you could turn the vehicle one direction and then the other while activating the handbrake to do a 180 degree turn. Instead, the vehicle continues going straight.

Man I can't stand how slow ADS is. This would be such an awesome feature. Good call

The devs are well aware of this. Basically anyone who has ever attempted to fix up a vehicle has experienced this glitch. If they just fixed cars, server side lag, and the inventory system, I'd be content with the game never getting any new content after that. We just want the game to work.
My friend is playing on an Xbox Series X and crashes literally once an hour. He uninstalled and reinstalled but same thing happens. One time he had to drive our only car and of course it lagged him out and drove him 100 meters off the road into a tree. At this point all the cars are hoarded on the server so I guess we're SOL on a vehicle lol.

The second instance is most likely normal. Not sure what caused the engine to be ruined (over revved the engine or drove without enough water in the radiator?) but once a vehicle's engine is ruined and you leave the area, it disappears. Even if it has items in the trunk. Not a great feature but I believe it is intended to work that way.

It would be nice to at least get an official answer from the devs on this. I don't see how anyone can agree with it. From our perspective it really just seems like honest players are being punished.

Not sure if this is related but we've had a stone circled fireplace at our base for at least a week and last night it randomly disappeared. Even the tripod and pot were gone. I wonder if there was an issue going on last night.

I just realized that this also happens with pouches. Even worse, pouches have a "weight" of over 20 but when you attach them to a plate carrier, the whole assembly only weighs I think 16. But with the pouches, it can hold I believe 24. For some reason, plate carriers with pouches attached can actually hold stuff in your inventory. It's like inventory inception. It seems that the game prioritizes putting loot inside the pouches that are inside the plate carrier that is inside your inventory rather than putting it in an available inventory slot.

I'm relatively new to this game but to add to this, I think sometimes cars get worse if you drive them through a big city. I've only ever driven through a large city once and it was Electro. The game was almost unplayable as I was driving through and when I miraculously got out of the city I realized that my car continued to bug out. I couldn't drive faster than 20 km/h because the car acted like it was driving over cobblestone or something. Constantly made the suspension clunking noises and would steer itself off the road. Usually the only issue I encounter is the game freezing for a few seconds and my car being teleported off the road into a tree.
Forgot to mention this happens on stable server MI8650. Have not confirmed that it occurs elsewhere.
This needs to be the number one priority. I can get over the inventory glitches, desync, occasional crashing, etc. but how could you put such a cool feature in a game that is unusable and a death sentence. In PUBG when you die you only lose 30 minutes of progress. In this game you can lose weeks of progress because your car decided to freeze and then fly off the road on its own into a tree causing you to lose your VSS, NVGs, and other loot that takes weeks to acquire. At the very least they should turn vehicle damage off. I'm sure 99% of deaths in a car are due to a glitch.
