Deactivate your clouds guys and you will see enough even on the darkest server.
Like the way it is on the picture but its a bit to bright for a real night.
So there should be a compromiss between this and the actual night. I love the night atm but after 3-4 hours my eyes start to hurt a bit

If the devs could reduce or delete the "shaking" while moving in 1st person I would be a 1st person only player, but like it is at the moment I cant play longer then half an hour in 1st person(Same was with Arma 2 for me). I´m getting sick of the motion while moving around.(Like reading while you are inside of a driving car).

I don´t like 3rd person because it does not feel real and gives some real unfair advantages like described many times in this thread. But I have no other choice if I want to play properly for longer then half an hour

It works perfectly like it is, i never ever ever ever ever died because of exhausting, dehydration or starvation. In real life 98% of mankind can not sprint more then 1km, so??

You need to go to towns to get some drinks and food, but most likely you guys are on all the military camps and airfields around the map. You will most likely not find anything to drink there because it has been looted by this annoying server hoppers. cheers

Edit: I was completely new to DayZ and had no problems with that system!!

I also noticed that my FPS drop very hard at the military camp south of Pavlovo, from 35 to average 15.
Cherno and Dubky are unplayable for me (-11 FPS)

Problem is that you have to switch servers very often when there is nothing to find anymore, thats frustrating and forces players to switch servers and clear them up all 4 hours at the moment.

to guest (0009025): Nice to get some criticism by someone who is not willing to give his name ;). Also it´s crap what you said since you can find an M4 and all this "endgame" stuff at the beginning at DayZ. DayZ is not only about surviving, its about dying in the same way. ITS AN ALPHA!!

It seems like you´ve never been to an Alpha Development....
Dying is important to get some bugs known.

I´ll go play Tetris if you promise me to stay at WoW

Theres no real endgame at the moment, so why you guys are crying about loosing your char? Its so boring to have everything and the only thing you can do is fooling around. The respawn is the best thing in DayZ for me.

And to Volter: Devs have to play their game, they need to check if immature teenager like you are right with their bug reports.

Don´t know if you still can dupe all on other player usable items but that´s how it works.

Step 1: Take a Saline bag in your hand
Step 2: Apply it to your friend
Step 3: The friend has to move during the process, so the process can not finish
Step 4: Voila 1 saline bag on the ground, 1 left in your hand
(Make it on the terrain, duped stuff could fall tthrough floors in buildings)
Note: Worked with blood bag, force feeding stuff, handcuffs, applying bandages to other players etc.
Don´t know if you already fixed this, but it worked exactly like this

both, killed a lot of zombies with 1 hit without beeing detected(hard to tell if true, cause of server lags) but also I´ve been detected by them and killed them afterwards. In both situations I mostly pull a lot of attention from the zombies on me.

As an example: I sneaked up behind a zombie in elektrozavodsk(at night) and killed him from behind with 1 hit of the firemans axe(no other zombies close in sight), the zombie didn´t do anything but dying, he didn´t move on my screen nor did he make any noise I could hear with my headset. After i killed him I got my M4 out and layed down again. 15 seconds later a zombie is coming through the wall of a building and attacks me. Well, I didn´t play the mod very often, but I never got attacked as unpredictable as it happens atm in the standalone.

I also noticed that some zombies are invincible(my girlfriend and me had this issue a lot(don´t know if you already fixed that)). We tried shooting zombies over long ranges(>200m), direct hits did not kill them unless the zombies sighted us and started running towards us. (Maybe they are not where the server shows them sometimes)

It´s still the same. Had the same issues like ind the Vids of 3rdParty, but with much more range to the zombies like 100-200m.

Edit: Retry with 0.30.114008 and it seems that I don´t attract zombies over large distances anymore, but if I attack a zombie with an axe, his zombiefriends will come and help him over long ranges(more then 100m) and through houses and walls.(They are not in line of sight to the zombie I attack)
