There was an issue like this back in beta with the "Steam UI" option or something in the game options menu. When the setting was enabled, you couldn't see any chat, and disabled let you see chat. But right now, neither work.

illogical downvote.
I put in my "steps to reproduce" to change audio output. You do it via the playback devices from within the operating system, not plug and unplug a headphone via the jack. Plugging in the earphones via the jack is basically the same output as the computer's speakers; at least for me it is...
The option is selectable in the profile setting, but it doesn't show up in the game... Shows up as tactical...

lolers... same issue with me. Seems like it happens when there's lag.
As for the original issue I submitted, it's pretty much fixed as far as players floating behind the helicopters.
The one where the rotors get damaged from someone jumping into the co-pilot seat, is slightly different than my original issue. I think someone has submitted that issue already, too.
It's working fine now. Thanks
That seemed to solve it. Thanks!

For the people who say they don't want to kill women: just think about the good old medieval days when women and children fought in wars. Joan of Arc? And even nowadays, women and children are fighting in the Middle East. There's nothing wrong with putting women, and even children (maybe going too far), morally, in this video game.
For the people who argue that there are no reasons to put them in the game: DUH! Simulation! Realism! Women (and children) DO FIGHT and DIE in real life.
The major concern is public response. Germany doesn't like it. Americans are bored and will make a big fuss about it; so will England.
My proposition, is to allow and moderate use of female soldiers by the server admins. Admins can allow or disallow female characters on their servers.
