The update (4 may 2015) killed this bug.
Previous save files for the above mentioned scenario are loading without problems

I agree, I would be a good thing to be able to recover the resources (when we start needing resources) for printed objects. It would be a waste of time to not be able to re-purpose those base materials.
I am pretty much able to 100% crash on my current save if I try and drop anything out of my inventory or from a crate. Very annoying.

Im on the Test build btw.
Been playing more and was able to locate all 3 supply drops and set everything up at the crash site. It seems that if we don't fill our inventories we wont get crashes. I will keep playing around and see.

After each crash was handled by OS, I started again.
Sadly buildings of a size of 5x5 are not possible to build yet due to overflow of something. Try to build 4x5 maximum. Also using large tiles(2x2) instead of 4 single tiles may be helpful.
Those 5x5 means putting 5 base platforms on the ground.

I able to overcome this issue by building the corridor longer with suit holder in between window corridor tiles or normal corridor tile "[H]"
yep tested on all scenario with built stuff
I think the issue is with save slots available in game.
i had all saves on one DEMO: hydro farming map and the other maps did not showed EMPTY save slot on the save menu so the game crashes when i tried to save.
but i deleted manually saves from steam userdata folder (took time to find)
and after i reopened the game, walla i can save on other scenarios, i see the EMPTY slot for saving.
I'd say the bug is that it works with martian soil, without any additions. It's sterile, nothing would grow in it. I suppose it's a placeholder for now and subject to change.
Yes but as far as i understand the code it does not divide between mars soil or moon soil.
If (on mars) I add those barrel filled with mars soil to the hydroponic the soil is rising inside the hydroponic.
On the moon I did the same (with moon soil) and nothing happened.
Bug now fixed
I have discovered that the mod "Print All The Objects" has been affecting my game, so I have turned it off. I'll report back if the issue returns.
