Thank you for sending us your feedback regarding this issue. Unfortunately, this problem is a known issue that has previously been reported. The devs are aware of the problem related to character save loss and they'll be working on fixing it.
Please take the time to perform a proper search before submitting duplicate bug reports.

As i told earlier, im already went out of this bug.
The report is only about that there is some kind of bug, if you were at the balcony while server restarts, there will be high chance to fall down through textures

Please higher the spawn rate! I was searching for the netting cross 3 day but yeah not a single pice....
The Skull-Balaclava is spawning at US heli crash sites and ak74 mags are rare but definetly in the loot table. Same goes for the ak rail handguard and pso1 scope. I have found all of these items in 0.51 and i play on harcore servers only but that doesnt matter at all i think. The only thing i have never found is the bipod but thats probably just bad luck. Netting is also spawning in case you havent found it yet. All in all i think that every item is currently spawning but things like the ak74 mags and the pso1 scope are extremly rare.

I had the same bug but it worked before the first server restart. After that it was not possible anymore.
We checked your account and all seems good. Please try the following steps:
- Uninstall DayZ and Steam.
- Manually delete the "C:\Users\<username>\Documents\DayZ" and the "C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\DayZ" folders.
- Reinstall DayZ and Steam.
- Launch DayZ and see if you can connect to the game servers.

To begin with I would recommend that you try to verify the integrity of the game cache:
- Start Steam and right click on DayZ in your game library (make sure that the game is not running).
- Select the tab labeled "Local Files".
- Click on the button labeled "Verify integrity of game cache...".
- Start DayZ once the process is complete.
If this does not solve the problem, then you can try the following steps:
- Move the entire "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps" folder to your desktop. Your "SteamApps" folder should now be at the following location: "C:\Users\<username>\Desktop\SteamApps".
- Move the "DayZ" folder out of the "C:\Users\<username>\Desktop\SteamApps\common" folder and subsequently delete the "DayZ" folder.
- Uninstall Steam while making sure the "SteamApps" folder is still on your desktop.
- Install a new version of Steam.
- Go to the new "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps" folder.
- Move everything inside the old "SteamApps" folder on your desktop to the new "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps" folder.
- Install DayZ again.
In case this does not solve your problem either, I can have a look at your account in the character database if you send me a link for your Steam Profile ID.
