Doing stupid unrealistic crap on purpose you're going to get unrealistic results. I mean when the hell are you going to be running into people with a helicopter?
I wouldn't really care if they modeled it like red orchestra does. They could just blur the edges of the screen like project reality does.
Helmet may take account for the entire head. Did you try it with the helmet removed?
None of this really matters how it feels or looks in real life as long as you are modeling the accuracy obtained from the result in real life. I recommend going into the editor and look at how far you are shooting and the accuracy you are obtaining. You might be surprised that it is pretty realistic.
I seriously have no problems hitting targets from the standing position with iron sights on both the standard issue rifles of opfor/blufor at medium range (100m-200m) with burst fire and less than 100m with full auto. I don't understand the trouble people are having. Are you trying to hit targets 300 meters or more with full auto or something?
Arma 2 was really weak on recoil and felt like crap compared to arma 1. Recoil only seems strong because you are zooming in on the weapon while firing. Also try sitting down there is almost no recoil when doing that.
Please go away. This is not a "Major" issue and if you can't read it says clearly states that not all the content is in the game. I personally don't think it's worth the extra time modeling rigging and adding new animations just for females when that could be time spent on other things. A reflection of reality is you would very rarely ever see a female on combat missions.
Weird my 6950 works fine... (im on the latest beta driver) you should include your driver version as well.
On the flip side you shouldn't be able to reload guns like the MK200 in full sprint... it's ridiculous.
