Confirmed this also works with saline bags on the public build, we were able to dupe a bunch today needs fixing ASAP

We would use item on a player, and then a message saying the player moved (we were close to each other but on a hill) would show up. After this there would be a floating item in the air we were able to pickup, as well as the original item.

Yeah people are downvoting because they either like it or they think its intended.

It's still a bug and it needs to be fixed, if you want spawns further north thats a feature request. The bug tracker is not a reddit post, this is a legitimate bug.

Agreed I've seen this a couple of times and heard it from others on my teamspeak a lot too.

The Novy spawn was always a bug in DayZ Mod, the point it spawned you at was the very centre of the map (inside a house). In DayZSA it seems this point has moved slightly but its always the same spot when you get it.

In DayZ mod Novy spawns were always related to server performance I assume something similar is occuring in the Standalone currently.

Yeah the amount you can change it in the sliders needs reducing massively, most monitors have controls for this sort of thing anyway.

You can also change the cloud settings to disabled and the game gets massively brighter.

loot doesnt respawn at the moment, if you are looting a coastal town like elektro you wont find much unless the server has just restarted because people have already found the good stuff.
