Once you've done the above, try:
DayZ > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity Of Game Cache...
After trying all of the above and still no change, copy your config files found in My Documents > DayZ into a separate folder somewhere else and delete the config files. DayZ should automatically restore those files, for whatever reason if it does not work after that someone else more knowledgeable may have to take a look at it.
What are your Launch Options set to?
I'm guessing you followed the "Increase FPS" guide found on Steam in which -winxp will crash you when adjusting settings and/or alt+tabbing out of the game. And considering the nature of your error code that seems to be related.
You said you were having problems without any launch options selected. Are you currently running DayZ in Windows XP (Service Pack 3) compatibility mode? If so, try disabling that. If you followed the guide closely and set your config files to read only this can also cause you to crash, mostly upon changing settings and leaving the game or leaving the settings menu.
If you cannot get the game to run without crashing after removing all launch options and setting it to run without compatibility and disabling the Read Only option on dayzprofile and dayz.cfg (a reinstall may be needed, but this is a worst case scenario, once we rule out these issues we'll take a look at your GFX settings if it should persist).
I tried going up the ladder on both the school and both fire stations in Elektro, but nothing happened to me. Unless there were other steps you took, please provide more information to recreate this.
Edit: I'll head to Berezino next time to see if it's the location, until then try to recreate it again and update your report once you do.
Edit 2: Also when doing this, make sure you list off any items on your character at the time this occurs. A screenshot would help.
It's not hard to get used to the way it is now. I'm mainly disappointed not being able to sprint from crouch. Everything else I would be fine with if it was as intended. I can understand how sprinting would be more difficult with your weapon raised, but it should automatically lower when sprinting. There is a reason we have the toggle walk button.
Hello, Mad Scientist. I'm not a moderator and I have little knowledge in dissecting crash dmps. I see that you have tried to remedy the problem yourself. You might want to change the name of your character from Admin to another name. This is not the cause of the crashing, but it will sometimes get you booted from servers. Before trying any of the stuff below go to DayZ in your Steam menu, right-click Properties, click Local Files tab, and click "Verify Integrity of Game Cache..."
Locate DayZ.exe "Run as administrator". I say this because the line
Exception code: C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION at 00000000
If you can, get back with me if you are able to play longer or if you still see no changes.
Edit: Also can you upload a recent crash dmp file
Edit 2: Is your video driver updated?
Yes, the atmosphere to the game is very important, if you are in the wilderness I can understand the game being a very stark color, so in places where light is not visible that would be great. However achieving colors in the photo above is not beyond fantasy in real life. Star lit nights and full moons provide a lot of light and the brain fills in the rest. Your brain tells your eyes, "Ok, this color is green." And so your eyes see it as such. That's why it is sometimes difficult to discern the color of an object you have not seen before when it's dark out, but even so this is a game and nights should be scary and beautiful at the same time. If you prefer to be Batman you can stay in the wilderness or hide in dark corners while looking outside menacingly with your Payday masks and an axe. At any rate, the lights in the city/town would not be on and so much color would be lost, but a version between the current night and that picture would be a good balance of color and grey.
