This is becoming a game killer. Doesn't matter where you are, inside or outside when you log off and this happens. Usually happens just when you get all geared up and have a possibility to do something.

Confirmed, Happened to me in a single story building in Balota.

Punch, Axe, Baseball Bat, Crowbar... etc. Seems all melee weapons do this.

This issue is similar to other crash reports so I'm sure they are working on it. only difference I've notice is the message he received ''Character reset, a developer has been notified''. Haven't herd about that message until now.

At least you got a message!! My Character has been randomly re-spawned/reset so many times with out so much as a message.

Search for this post, will prob help you understand why.

I've also noticed this, seems to be any inland open water source, streams, ponds, etc. Anyone notice water impact on gear when this happens? Wet clothing before you reach the water source but still have the water sound? Might be more than just a sound bug if so. I'll do some testing next time I come across this.

This is being caused due to the nesting of the backpacks/containers.

Fix would be to limit bag/container nesting.

If you want to recover your game b/c you did this, Drop some of the nested bags, and join another server and you should be good to go.

If your use your scroll wheel before hitting F it will give you other opions of things you can do... like choosing a different Mag to use when you reload. I bound my mouse scroll up and down to my keyboard since my scroll wheel doesn't work. I've never had an issue trying to reload mags. As far as the canteens go, what are you looking for a 1 button press to auto refill all your canteens? This game is going for some level of realism, hence having to put each canteen / water-bottle in your hand to refill.

This Has happened to myself and my friend as well. We were trying to find a server that was responding decently, He randomly joined a server after leaving another, and when he joined it re-spawned him on the beach. 45 min later i was switching servers and it happened to me. Didn't notice this issue before latest patch.

I agree, when eating and drinking from bottles/canteens this mechanic of it putting the items back in inventory immediately after 1 use can get annoying. Although i wouldn't go as far as an "eat all" or "Drink All" button. How many times will that cause you to eat or drink to much b/c you clicked or selected incorrectly. I would just make it so items stay in your hands ready for use until one of these conditions are met, a) you remove the item from you hand and return it to your inventory, b) you use all the contents of the item and item is still reusable the character returns the item to your inventory (Water) or container, or c) you eat the contents of the food and the container is empty and not reusable the character drops the item on the ground.

I can confirm part of this, when bringing up the server browser, or joining a server from the server browser my Teamspeak 3 will disconnect and reconnect with in 3 seconds. I can also confirm this happening to 3 others i game with, and we all have different connection speeds and router/modem setups.

My Cards don't go over 45c even in DayZ

Myself and my Wife keep getting random PC reboots since the last update. The debug pointed to the Nvidia 331.82 driver failing. I did clean re-installs on both PC's of the driver and am still getting it. Game will be going along just fine, and then black screen, few second later PC reboots, No BSOD to be seen. Usually happens after an extended period of playing ~30min or so. I would say perhaps it has something to do with SLI, but my wife's PC isn't SLI'ed. It doesn't seem to matter what we are doing in game when it happens, could be moving across a field, or kneeling and picking something up, or even just sitting.

Both PC's running Win 7 x64
Wife PC - evga 780
My PC - 2 evga 780 Hydrocopper SLI

*(note) I'm about to try the nvidia beta 331.93 to see if that helps.
*(note 2) Since going to the nvidia beta driver I haven't randomly rebooted.
