Just continue to hit escape and join different servers. You will eventually get in. It takes me a max of five minutes to do this. Also, make sure you wait for about thirty seconds. Count it out, one mississippi, two mississippi, so on before hitting esc and trying another server you will get in. I have yet to meet someone that hasn't been able to.
I agree with this one hundred thousand percent. I've spent more time trying to figure out how to open doors in alpha than I have killing zombies. I love the game but for god sake trying to open a door should not be one of the most complicated tasks.
I mentioned body re-positioning and think these are two different issues. In fact, after the most recent patch my body was no longer moving but items were gone or rearranged. The bug I've reported may have been created when they fixed the body re-positioning bug.
This is absolutely true. I haven't confirmed it on 33.114926
But it was in effect on the previous version.
Seems like you may be getting shot.
This seems to have stopped with 33.114926 but I can't be sure because I was testing it while sitting still and it may have something to do with recent movement before logging out.
I have noticed and reported however that items are now disappearing or rearranging themselves within the hunter back pack. I have not tested other back packs. Here is the bug report: http://feedback.dayzgame.com/view.php?id=8070
How do you know it just wasn't supposed to be there, at least in the ridiculous amount that it was, from the very beginning? I think it's hilarious that people are pissed about something that was obviously wrong from the start. In my opinion this issue has actually been fixed by getting rid of it.
What I meant is there was WAY to much military loot spawning in those tents at the beginning. I haven't had any trouble finding my pristine ACOGs. You just have to actually play the game and look around the map for them now. A ton of military gear still spawns at NWAF.
I believe this is related to the issue that I just reported. It happens with all the items in a dead players inventory.
Experienced the same issue. Only the "extra" pair of handcuffs appeared floating in the air as if attached to an invisible player.
I think it's the first place that Rocket died when playing the mod.
This is happening in several locations after the most recent patch.
Already reported that here: http://feedback.dayzgame.com/view.php?id=7449
It's not a bug, you can now rename your character. Just click on the text of your name and you can modify your in game name. In other words, it is no longer linked to your steam name. It's a new feature.
Agree, please prioritize. This is breaking immersion for me. Also, I want to use the peal after eating to set a trap for my opponents.
I believe this is happening when other players sharing your network bubble trigger these sounds.
Is this correct?
This is why players falsely correlate it with towns and not wilderness.
How do I opt out of receiving emails every time someone leaves a note here?
Sorry noob question and I didn't know where else to find the answer.
Make sure your object quality is set to high or very high. This is actually good for multiple reasons. The higher you set it the more it offloads from CPU to GPU which, if you understand the arma engine, is always a good thing to do when you can because it is so CPU intensive.
