The last three times I've logged out of an experimental server, I've moved away from the area I was looting, found a tree, and logged off under it.
Then on log on, I was teleported back maybe 50-100 meters, sometimes back inside the looted area.
May be related to server load. {F30013}
This has happened to me as well and my situation was similar to dan's. It's a pretty dangerous thing to happen when you're at an airfield.
I have had this a few times on the new stable build 114926, was at nw airfield at building with holding cell in and a upstairs room, ran over to the wooded area stopped and exited server. When I joined back in I was back in the building with the holding cell and had some random people standing there waving at me lol lucky he was friendly. It my be my internet causing abit of lag or desync as I'm with talktalk and they are not the quickest around.
This seems to have stopped with 33.114926 but I can't be sure because I was testing it while sitting still and it may have something to do with recent movement before logging out.
I have noticed and reported however that items are now disappearing or rearranging themselves within the hunter back pack. I have not tested other back packs. Here is the bug report: http://feedback.dayzgame.com/view.php?id=8070

Character location is not being saved as you log out, you have to sit and wait for a short while first for it to be updated.
I think it rolls You back for like 30 sec before logout. So just sit in bush for while and then log out.
this is happening to me too the experimental build. i think it might have something to do with the anti-combat log system. it seems like i get put back to the place i was 30 seconds before i logged out
I can also confirm this but i've had a few serious cases where i'm hundreds of metres back. One occasion today ran from supermarket in zelenogorsk back past the police station towards the power station and despawned in the tree line there and respawned later back at the supermarket so about 300 metres back
I can confirm this and have attached and example of what happened when I logged out/logged in from my recent game. If the current logout system w/ anti-combat logging is going to be permanent, this needs to be fixed.

Still happening on latest experimental build 0.36.0.115297. I logged out well into cover and logged in the middle of the road :/
