Screenshot? This may have something to do with your bloom setting.
When you click play and update through steam you can click "view patch notes" or something along those lines. Seems fine to me. No searching or anything involved.
Though I suppose it would be nice? Very low priority, in my humble opinion.
I also experience this, and my water doesn't purify.
I remember a similar thing happening in the DayZ mod as well.
This only occurs with full ammo boxes for me, and they indeed show up some time after 60 seconds. Full med-kits seem fine in my experience. (tested multiple times)
This happens if you are not selecting a player when your using it(no unit). Much like refilling a bottle of water you have to find the 'sweet spot' on the unconscious, which is hard since if you walk into the body you push it away.
However I can say I have applied a defibrillator correctly to a person, where it came up with a message with the specific persons name( I don't know if he woke up as he logged out shortly after).
I've had a similar issue before. Does the sound start to skip and replay the same noise as well?
I saw a post where to get out a person ran at a wall, then logged out while running. When they logged back in they were outside (untested but worth a shot).
Hope this helps those who are stuck, update if it works.
Some food/drink items affect both energy "food levels" and your water levels. For example cereal will add energy and remove water.
Explained in this link:

I can refill water bottles and canteens at both water pumps and ponds, and have done so many times. Often you may find it hard to find that sweet spot. I found the best way to fill up a bottle or canteen is to do the following:
- Get the empty bottle/canteen in your hand
- Scroll mouse button whilst looking at the source of water, changing your position.
- Stop when you see an option to refill bottle/canteen and scroll to it then press your action key(f)
Your set rendering distance may have caused this, however, I am unsure as I have not experienced this issue. Maybe try changing it at(with windows 7):
C:\Users\[YOUR USER]\Documents\DayZ Other Profiles\[YOUR IN GAME NAME]
-> Open in notepad or word
-> Look for these viewDistance=1000;preferredObjectViewDistance=800;
-> Increase bearing in mind increased strain on your computer.
Not sure if this will help.
It won't let you refill from the hotkey. However, if I open my inventory then X the full bottle out of my hands, then drag the empty one in, I can fill my empty bottle up. This means you don't have to drop it on the floor, but it is almost as much effort.
This has also occurred to me in a high-rise apartment building and schoolhouse/office. Except the Zombie didn't hit me, it merely ran into me and pushed me through the wall. Similar to how you push/move other players when you run into them.
